Halo Wars 2 Beginner Guide Here is a little bit of a beginner's guide I'm trying to put together for new players to the game. Go ahead and feel free to let me know if I screwed something up, or you'd like to add additional information.

Let me start by saying I'm not a 343 or Halo fanboy so you can trust my review. It is better then the first one but in all fairness I paid $10 for the first 1 used and didn't play it this much.

Now for a RTS its good takes me back to C&C days the campaign is decent an multi is fun. But blitz mode only has 1 map an I could see that mode turn into a pay to win very easy. The others modes are fun an fair just time seems after 30 min or so match is over either way longest I've played a match was 32min then around that time game desides winner if you both are still standing. Which was kinda a let down I'm all about getting to fight down to my last unit. So with that an my story play threw I experienced glitches like units not working properly to were I had to reset the level or find away around it is why I gave it 4 stars. Now this happened several times so I strongly recommend saving a lot.

With the level restart would usually fix the problems. In all this is a really good RTS I enjoy it.

Yes I understand you guys have jobs & need to be paid but its not right that people who own the season pass have to pay more. There are people including myself who spent $90 on the ultimate edition & now with Awakening the nightmare DLC it costs $20 even to season pass owners.

If we pay for the new DLC we'll be spending $110 which isn't right because the whole point of a season pass is to give all new content free to the people who paid more. There's a new edition you guys released for Halo Wars 2: Complete Edition that costs $60. The HW2:CE has all the DLCs including awakening again its only $60. It's not fair that people who by HW2:CE will only be paying approximately half of what people who bought HW2:UE & Awakening DLC have & will be paying for. $110 to $60, that's not right to the community who support u guys. You're slapping us in the face & not caring. You guys don't need people who paid $90 to pay an extra $20 since a new edition was released for only $60 with EVERY DLC.

The season pass includes everything but awakening the nightmare, yes they did that probably because there not getting as much money as they used to. Yes there are bugs, but dosent every game have that?

In my opinion Halo Wars 2 is a great game, a mix between the old halo look and the new one. Its got a fantastic campain and it gets better with its dlc. Before you get this game make sure the reviews arnt lackluster if you cant find a good one look online or ask 2 or 3 people that own the game. The negitive thing I have to say is not the actual game but players, there are alot of 'rushers' which is you dont know what rushers are they simply try to kill you at the start of the game, but then again there were rushers in the first game. So like everyone else preordered Ultimate Ed expecting the complete package. Got nothing but leaders and 2 small missions. Then release a real expansion and exclude it from pass. Now theres a 'complete' edition.

343 definitely misled the public with this tactic. At very least Complete should have been available from beginning.

Shoot.all the dlc from Halo 5 was free!!! I know Bungie used to make Halo games. But you guys didnt have to pull a Destiny and let greed completely take over.

I will definitely never preorder another 343 game. And with these tactics may have to refrain picking them up til years after release, if ever.

And on top of that I just recently found out that even though I bought the Ultimate Edition which supposedly would give me ALL content they just recently got rid of that version of the game and are charging $20 for a DLC that should be in the season pass, or $60 for a truly 'complete' game. I wont be paying any more on this game, I just hope the next Halo isnt like this and is more like how they did Halo 5 dlc. I was so impressed with the beta that I even invested into the season pass. After 6 seasons (atleast 3 as a champion player), and currently the start of season 7 I am no longer able to play the game I have devoted more time to than any other game in the past due to its new update.

Every attempt I make to re-intall this game it is instantly stopped due to a coding error within the program. If this isn't resolved shortly, I will never have the respect I once had for the halo series.
